Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art (MoCTA)
Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art is a non profit foundation. It is located in Emmen. It is the first museum in the world dedicated permanently to modern and contemporary Tibetan art. Opened on June 1, 2017, in the Rensenpark, it was founded by Tibetan monk and Artist Lama Tashi Norbu alongside with Artist Leela Eleni Skitsa. MoCTA is a Cultural Bridge connecting Tibetan (Eastern) and Western art forms. It Protects and promotes Tibetan heritage. The Musuem exhibition deals with tibetan objects and Art pieces of Tibetans in Exile and Tibetans from Lhasa, Tibet. It promotes Dalai Lama's comittments in life as well as Tibet: its culture, its voice and its cause.
